Sakura Incubator

Cherry Blossom Zone endgame mechanicLast checked 2 days ago

The dormant tree at the end of the Cherry Blossom Zone is the Sakura Incubator. Its prompt asks you to hatch and return a Crane before you can use its egg-mutation loop. Great Bloom is the event that supplies the Sakura Crystals the incubator consumes.

Short answer: hatch a Crane from a Cherry Blossom Egg, bring the pet back to the dormant tree, and interact with it. The unlock is reported to be permanent, and the Crane is not consumed.

How to unlock it

The tree needs the pet, not an unhatched egg.

  1. Reach the Cherry Blossom Zone, the area behind Cosmic. The escape-speed requirement is reported as roughly 2.5B.
  2. Take a Cherry Blossom Egg back to your base and hatch it until you have a Crane in your collection.
  3. Return to the dormant tree with the pet, then use the interaction prompt to offer the Crane.
  4. After the unlock, save Sakura Crystals from Great Bloom and place an egg into the incubator when you are ready to mutate it.

Great Bloom and Sakura Crystals

Great Bloom provides the resource; it is not a hatch roll.

Great Bloom is reported to appear every 30 minutes and last 3 minutes. During that window, equip a Bat and hit the Crystal Cherry Blossom Trees in the Cherry Blossom Zone. The trees drop Sakura Crystals, which are the incubator's charge resource.

Go into the zone before the event begins and keep your Bat ready. The duration is short, so a prepared route matters more than trying to reach the trees after the announcement.

Bloom and Spirit Bloom are documented as valuable results, but no reliable source has published their exact income multipliers. This wiki deliberately leaves that number unknown instead of inventing a value.

FAQ

What is the dormant Sakura tree in Steal An Egg?

It is the Sakura Incubator in the Cherry Blossom Zone. It is not an egg nest or a finish-line reward: it is an egg-mutation device that is locked until you return a hatched Crane pet.

Do you lose the Crane when you unlock the Sakura Incubator?

No. Current guide sources say the unlock is permanent and the Crane stays in your collection after you offer it at the incubator.

What does the Great Bloom event do?

Great Bloom is the Cherry Blossom Zone's crystal-farming window. It is reported to run every 30 minutes for 3 minutes; use a Bat on Crystal Cherry Blossom Trees to collect Sakura Crystals for the incubator.

How much charge does the Sakura Incubator need?

At 100% charge, an egg can mutate into Bloom or Spirit Bloom. About 1,000 Sakura Crystals are reported to reach 100%; taking the charge to 150% guarantees Spirit Bloom.

What are the Sakura Incubator mutation odds?

Community-reported guide data lists Bloom at 97.5% and Spirit Bloom at 2.5% at the normal 100% mutation point. The exact value multipliers for both results have not been published.
