The complete route (during the event)
The historical route, in order.
- Reach the Cherry Blossom Zone. It sits beyond Cosmic; the escape-speed requirement was reported as roughly 2.5B.
- Steal a Cherry Blossom Egg and carry it home. Its pink shell and dark-purple banding help distinguish it from earlier nests.
- Hatch the egg until you get an Epic Crane. The Crane, not the unhatched egg, is the key the tree checks for.
- Return to the dormant Sakura tree and use its interaction prompt. The incubator unlocked permanently; reports said players kept the Crane.
- Wait for Great Bloom, equip the Bat, and hit the Crystal Cherry Blossom Trees to stockpile Sakura Crystals. (The event has ended — this window no longer occurs.)
- Put in the egg you want to mutate. Use 100% charge for the normal Bloom/Spirit Bloom roll, or continue to 150% for a guaranteed Spirit Bloom.
If the tree is still dormant
Most stalled attempts are caused by the wrong item state.
First check that you hatched the Cherry Blossom Egg. The interaction asks for a Crane pet, so carrying an unhatched egg will not satisfy it. Then make sure you are back at the tree in the Cherry Blossom Zone rather than at a normal nest or a base hatch area.
The documented Crane is Epic and is described as the zone's most common hatch. Its reported $4k/s income is single-source, so treat the pet's unlock role as the useful fact here rather than farming it for a guaranteed earnings value.

Before the event
Get into Cherry Blossom early and equip your Bat. Do not wait for the on-screen alert before starting the trip.
During Great Bloom
Hit Crystal Cherry Blossom Trees continuously. The reported event lasts only 3 minutes and returns every 30 minutes.
After the run
Players kept crystals for a deliberate incubator attempt. The income scalars are now documented in the client-config mirror: Bloom ×1.25, Spirit Bloom ×2.5.
100% or 150% charge?
The historical decision: certainty versus crystal cost.

Why did the Sakura Incubator say Crane pet required?
During the event, the dormant tree stayed locked until a player hatched a Crane from a Cherry Blossom Egg and returned with the pet. An unhatched egg did not meet the interaction requirement.
Should players stop at 100% or charge the Sakura Incubator to 150%?
At the reported 100% mutation point, Spirit Bloom had a 2.5% chance. Reaching 150% guaranteed Spirit Bloom, so 150% suited players who valued that certainty over saving crystals. The client-config mirror documents the resulting income scalars as Bloom ×1.25 and Spirit Bloom ×2.5.
When did players farm Sakura Crystals?
During Great Bloom, the event's 3-minute crystal window that recurred every 30 minutes. The event has ended, so Sakura Crystals can no longer be farmed.
Does unlocking the incubator consume my Crane?
