Cherry Blossom Update — Update #1 Guide
Update #1 went live on August 22, 2026, right after the first Admin Abuse event. It added a new endgame biome, a weather event system, an egg-mutating incubator, and two new mutations. This guide covers the whole loop — every number is sourced and unknowns are labeled.
The loop in five steps
- Reach the Cherry Blossom Zone (behind Cosmic; ~2.5B Speed to escape).
- Steal Cherry Blossom Eggs and hatch a Crane (Epic).
- Offer the Crane at the sealed Sakura Incubator — permanent unlock, you keep the Crane.
- Farm Sakura Crystals in the Great Bloom Event (every 30 min, 3 min long).
- Charge the incubator (100% ≈ 1,000 crystals; 150% guarantees Spirit Bloom) and mutate your best eggs.
Cherry Blossom Zone
New deepest biome, behind Cosmic.
The first new biome since launch sits behind Cosmic — making it the deepest zone in the game. IGN reports a minimum of 2.5 billion Speed to escape the zone, or its guardian will likely catch you (the guardian's identity isn't documented yet). Its nest eggs have a pink shell with dark purple banding and reset on the same 4:30 night cycle as every other biome.
Only one pet is documented so far — the Epic Crane, described as the zone's most common hatch. Higher rarities almost certainly exist here; we'll publish them as they're verified rather than guess.
The Crane
The zone's key pet — and the incubator key.
The Crane is an Epic pet that hatches only from Cherry Blossom Zone eggs, with a reported $4k/s base income (single source — IGN). Carry the stolen egg home, hatch it, and the Crane does double duty: a solid earner and the permanent key to the Sakura Incubator.
Sakura Incubator
Crane in, mutations out.
A sealed incubator inside the Cherry Blossom Zone. Interact with it while carrying a Crane and offer the bird — the unlock is permanent and the Crane stays in your collection.
The incubator charges with Sakura Crystals. An egg mutates when it reaches 100% charge (~1,000 crystals), rolling Bloom (97.5%) or Spirit Bloom (2.5%). Push the charge to 150% before mutating and Spirit Bloom is guaranteed. Both mutations greatly increase an egg's value; the exact multipliers haven't been published, so we show them as unknown on the mutations page.
Great Bloom Event & Sakura Crystals
Every 30 minutes, three minutes long.
Update #1's weather event system runs in the Cherry Blossom Zone: the Great Bloom Event starts every 30 minutes and lasts 3 minutes, announced by an on-screen notification. While it's live, equip your Bat and hit the Crystal Cherry Blossom Trees — they drop Sakura Crystals, the incubator's fuel.
Plan around it: be inside the zone with your Bat equipped before the notification, and swing for the whole three minutes. One full event comfortably funds a large chunk of a 100% charge.
Admin Abuse events
The pre-update giveaway.
“Admin Abuse” is the devs' live giveaway format: for 30–60 minutes they use admin commands across all servers — boosted egg spawns, multiplied Speed, free items, stacked boosts. Admin Abuse #1 ran Saturday, August 22, 2026 at 11:00 AM ET, immediately before Update #1 went live.
If another is announced, the prep is the same: stockpile your best unhatched eggs to open during the luck window, clear pen space, and join early — servers cap at 7 players. A repeating schedule hasn't been confirmed.
